I really enjoy teaching, I have kids that love completely different kinds of music and is fun to discover what they really like, what I do is really simple I just motivate my students teaching them what they really want to learn, I have to learn songs that they really like and show them how to play them in an easy way using music theory and harmony so they understand a lot more. It works great because they do learn fast and I'm having more students every month by recommendations.
I finished my high school in Peru and after that I went to Barcelona(spain) to study music. A Little Bit About Me...

My drive for knowledge enabled me to complete three degrees by the age of 22. I have high grades in all my classes as well as the extra science and writing classes I take on the side. I have a AAST in environmental science and technology, a BA in marine science and environmental studies, and will have my BS in one quarter. As well as being a full time student except for the summertime I tutor people in need of a little extra help. I have tutors ages from 6-25 and people with disabilities as well. I am a very patient, hands-on style of tutor. I take the time and try to explain things to people who have a hard time understanding. I try to gage what the student is struggling with and also what they do understand, so I can quickly pinpoint their troubles and focus on the problem issue. Some kids need more explaining, others need a picture drawn out for them. I am good at finding what method people learn best with.

I consider myself to be fun and entertaining and very approachable in my teaching methods. I never lose patience with students and believe that making mistakes is equally as important as making progress. All students can become better writers with a little hard work and a bit of desire to do so, and I can give them the tools to produce their best writing to date.
I have worked with at-risk children in the Chicago Public Schools system to teach a wide range of skills, primarily focusing on college readiness skills, essay and resume writing, ACT preparation, and remedial and advanced reading techniques. I am also highly qualified to teach speech and journalism, and have a year of experience in each as well. I feel I can make the most impact on students when I work with them one-on-one, and so I am excited to transition from the full-time teaching to the tutoring field.
