French, Math, and Arabic Tutor

The first thing I’d like to first teach my students about Math, Arabic, and French is that they are relevant and fun, so they are in turn interested in learning them, which will make the subject easy to teach, and allow for pleasant engagement of the students and myself. My comments on tutoring Trigonometry : I always have been skilled in mathematics. Throughout my entire academic career, number relationships and equations have always come pretty easily to me. I even tutored some friends in college because they were struggling. I've have been a very visual learner, so geometry and trigonometry came particularly easily to me. Having a visual aid really helps one understand the relationship between angles, triangles, area, and volume.

I don't any paid, professional tutoring experience. However, I have volunteered my services to family members and friends. During my sophomore year, I took Organic Chemistry and excelled. However, my friends were struggling. They hated me a bit for how easy it came to me. I decided to tutor them and help them with homework assignments and studying. They ended up doing very well on the exams, allowing them to secure a 3.0 or higher in the course. I also had to regular help my classmates out with more complex problems in Physics. I was not so much tutoring as working together with them on the homework, but still, it involved clear explanation and a thorough knowledge of the subject matter.

As a engineer I have been training operators in everything form SPC to troubleshooting for 30 years. I am a volunteer tutor for Adult ESL & GED for the Literacy Council of Williamson County since June 2009.
I have worked with adults. I prefer a one on one direct instruction and mentoring, keeping everything simple and fun. I am not sure how well I would be with children; I have none of my own and have not spent much time with my nephews and nieces.
