My comments on tutoring Earth Science : I did very well in this subject, and wrote and prepared multiple studies, papers, and conducted extensive research into various aspects of Earth Science, with a particular interest in tectonic plates and their impacts on our society.

I have mentored various people since 2000, in all types of subjects, including math, science, social sciences, English, writing, literature, and other related subjects. My academic record is very strong, and I believe empowering those I work with every single time. The only pre-requisites are that you have to be willing to learn, and learn how to learn.
I like to use the Socratic method, mainly by asking questions and challenging assumptions. My teaching and tutoring experience began prior to completing the BA in Foreign Languages: I had been teaching and tutoring English and Latin to a few Italian students. After graduating and moving to the USA, I started tutoring Latin and Italian to American students. I did substitute work January-June 1992 September 1992 taught Kindergarden at New York City Schools. This proved too far from home, and the teaching market had a glut so found other work. also took graduate course work in mostly reading. In 2004 worked as reading remediation instructor for Mesa Public Schools in Arizon for 3 years. At same time worked after school for Camp Fire Girls and Boys in the Phoenix doing Math and Reading remediation. I taught 2nd grade for 2007-8 school year and 1st grade from Sept-Dec. of 2008.
