When I tutor I try and understand where they are having trouble and try to find the best way of explaining in a way that is beneficial to the student. While at Springfield College I started tutoring some of my fellow students in the areas of math and science for a little extra cash. I have always wanted to mimic the kind of tutoring I received as a struggling math student in middle school. I was never the best at math until I started to receive tutoring and everything started to click. The extra help I got in math was essential to my studies at the university level and all my previous coursework leading up. I want to be that tutor who helped everything click.

From my experience of working the Math Lab at ICC, I have noticed that for some students, math is a rather difficult subject to them.
