I was a finance major for most of college before switching to management middle of junior year. Currently I work for a financial planning company in town as a financial representative. I am looking to tutor as a way to pick up some extra income and grow in my teaching skills. I have taught for 3 years at Sam Houston State University for the Department of Chemistry. As a high school student I tutored off and on for around 4 years. I am currently working on my Master's in chemistry at SHSU. I love helping students understand concepts that seem 100% foreign to them. I teach mostly geared towards visual learners. I tend to use visual and real life examples to push my students to grasp the concepts for themselves. I prefer to make them do the work and answer questions as we move forward.
