Exceeded my GED tests and finished classes early

Enrolled in GED classes in late January 2011 and completed the courses within a week and took my GED 2 weeks later and passed in all fields with high scores or exceeding scores. Im 17 but willing to work hard and do everything I can to make sure the student passes and even exceeds on their GED. I have experience in GED classes and with the test since I have taken it and exceeded it recently.

New college graduate with teaching experience

I have experience in one-on-one teaching, but feel comfortable with no more than five students at a time.
I have 1.5 years of volunteer experience in teaching adult literacy. In this experience I have taught the alphabet, study/homework skills, basic consonant and vowel sounds, rules to the English language, and reading and writing. I believe in completing an individual needs assessment and designing a study approach around that assessment. I believe in constant reinforcement and reassessment. I also believe it is useful to utilize as many and as varied forms of instruction as possible (written, audio-visual, demonstration, etc.) to solidify a concept. I enjoy working with elementary aged children. I believe that all children want to learn but all have individual styles that an instructor must recognize.
