I love to learn, and love passing that on to others. I am a patient personality, and I may present a problem to a student to evaluate where they are. From there, we can go either backwards or to more advanced work. Education is very important for myself and for my children, and I like to instill that learning takes you further in life than where someone may have not even dreamed. As an unerdergraduate at Mississippi State University, I majored in geosciences with and emphasis on forecasting; that is meteorology.I served eight years with the army national guard and completed a year tour of Iraq. While in the national guard I learned valuable leadership skills and how to teach others to preform military tasks. While working on my geosciences degree I took several upper level mathematics courses including trigonometry, college algebra, and calculus. In addition to these courses, I took upper level writing courses such as geowriting and english composition level two. My bachelors degree has taught me much about earth science and minor chemistry.
