Learning can be fun!

I am currently teaching English as a second language to post-secondary international students at California State University Sacramento. I teach all areas of English, including grammar, composition, reading, and listening and speaking skills. I have taught beginning English to refugees in Sacramento, as well as English as a foreign language in Guatemala and Honduras. I have taught both adults and children and love both populations of learners. I am also currently tutoring three Chinese girls with various proficiencies in English. I have worked with students from various language backgrounds including but not exclusive to Arabic, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, African dialects and others. My comments on tutoring Elementary Grammar : I taught English grammar to Czech children aged 2-13.

I have been teaching all my life. Last year, I lived in Prague, Czech Republic, and taught English to students aged five through adult. They included children, accountants, analysts, engineers, energy experts, and lawyers. I've also taught swimming lessons to individual students and group classes for over ten years. I have a Master's in Creative Writing and poetry, and I have worked as a freelance writer, editor, proofreader, and teacher for many years. I love teaching and the diverse students I meet.
