NSF Detroit Area Precollege Engineering Program in Wireless Integrated Microsystems (Program Director): Developed and instructed curriculum for a 5-week camp to teach precollege students topics in wireless communication, microfabrication and computer engineering. In an innovate approach, I developed a curriculum that used Lego robotics to teach students about digital circuits, physics, and algebra. I tutored math for 2 years while in undergraduate and graduate school I taught pre-calculus at Speed Scientific School for 1 year as an undergraduate. I was a graduate teaching assistant. I worked for Dr. Art Riehl.
I love teaching math. I try to make students realize its importance. I always use lots of drawings, graphs, and charts to help them learn. Visual effects facilitate the understanding and makes the learning process easier.

I have an engineering background with a BS and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. An engineering degree requires a significant background in math and science. While in college I had such a love for math that I took math classes as electives and became a math tutor for college math. My most recent experience is that of an Instructor in math and science.
I convey to each student a never give up attitude and show confidence in their ability to understand the material. Each problem will be explained to the student and I will encourage every student to ask questions. After the student gains confidence in working problems together then I will have the student work a similar problem by themselves to confirm their level of understanding. After the student works the problem I will go over it and correct any mistakes in their work .
