My teaching style is that I provided one-on-one instruction and in addition to that I work as substitute teaccher for English as a second language. To begin with ,my interest in tutoring started after I volunteer to work for Americorps. I helped students in reading and writing. During my assignment with Americorps,I had the opportunity in acquiring skills which has helped me in tutoring. I was assigned to work as a summer associate instructor for reading and mathematics. I participated in literacy program in which I assisted children who had trouble in reading and writing. After Americorps,I decided to pursue career in educational setting in which I worked as an instructional assistant at the ESL office.
