A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate of St. Bonaventure University. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. Although I do not have formal experience in teaching I have greatly enjoyed helping others with science in my undergraduate years. I have assisted non-science majors with various science topics, especially biology, when they asked for help and have found that many have had a much better understanding of the topics at hand after I've helped them.
I do my best to adapt to how the student learns most efficiently. I also greatly encourage for the student to speak during tutoring sessions; rather than I do all the talking, I believe it is greatly beneficial for the student to partake in discussions and ask questions. I start with the basics in all subject areas and make sure basic concepts are learned first then advance on to higher level thinking techniques to broaden my students overall knowledge in the core area they are studying.
