I bring both personality and creativity to math sessions, and I am concerned with the intellectual and emotional well-being of all tutees/students. I have enjoyed the personal gratification of tutoring since high school. Since I was 15 years old, I have shared my knowledge and love of mathematics with people of all ages. I attended Spelman College and Georgia Institute of Technology, where I received my Bachelor of Science in both Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. I also tutored my peers at these institutions. My teaching style is inclusive of the hands-on approach. I believe that all students should have equal access to education. While that doesn't hold true, in the classroom, I encourage and appreciate students whom voice their opinion on a regular basis. I believe that all students also have a different approach to learning, and thus, they must be approached differently with different methods. Some students are definitely visual learners, while others are auditory or kinesthetic learners.
