I have been working with students in both one-on-one and group settings for going on 14 years. I began tutoring groups of children at an inner city after school program in Language Arts and Reading Comprehension. I went into further training at my high school and became a designated math tutor for those in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Geometry. My teaching style really depends on the person I am working with. People learn different ways. It is important to identify what works best for the person. For example, some people may learn through discussion, while others may need to see pictures or presentations of the subject matter. I like to identify how the person learns first through questions, or by testing them with a simple task first to identify the method which seems to work best for them. Once this has been identified, training can begin.
I have both a bachelors degree and masters degree in business administration/management. A Little Bit About Me...

I was employed by the Interior Design department at FSU to teach undergraduate courses, being an instructor of record for the inital course for the department, Design Fundamentals.
