I have taught for 30 years. Five years ago I began tutoring when my daughter was diagnosed with a sensory processing disorder. I feel like I can do more as a tutor than a classroom teacher. My heart lies with these kids and I want to do everything I can to help make them a success. I create an individual course of study for each child based on their learning style. My comments on tutoring Sociology : So much of being expert in any field is having the ability to teach my students to use effective study skills and learning strategies. This I can do for you although I excelled at many sociology classes in undergraduate and graduate school.

Throughout my successful career as a teacher and school counselor, I've instructed every level from kindergarten to college level. Likewise I've had the privilege of working with various cultures, ages and achievement levels. Due to my certification and years of experience I've taught every subject area in grades K-8, worked with high school students in language arts and sciences, assisted with study skills and test preparation and taught reading to adults as well as other college level classes. I have a reading endorsement and a counseling psychology certification so I am versed in Special Education issue also.
