I have always had a strong interest in Education. From my High School teenage years, I tutored Elementary and High School students in the summer that attended my church in my home country Barbados. I went on to pursue my Bachelors degree in Psychology, in which I earned Second Class Honors, so that I could have a deeper understanding of how individuals develop mentally. The bilingual students I teach have a unique challenge in that the letters of the alphabet represent different sounds in English versus Spanish.
