Being in college for four years exposed me to social environments that I normally wouldn't have been able to encounter on a day to day basis. Whether I was learning on my own, working with or helping fellow classmates, or even just observing how the professors worked with us, I was always learing new concepts or methods of how to interact with a wide variety of characteristics in a diverse group of people. And due to the difficulty of my major, I feel that by being able to communicate well with others in this area I could handle various other scenarios as well. I believe that every student can successfully learn different subjects if the material is presented to them in a way they can understand. Students vary in how they learn; some learn from reading and others from visuals. I will help to identify which style works best for the student and then tutor them using that style.
