My teaching style is a combination of serious, in-depth theory and practical examples to demonstrate such theories, all with a hint of humor, followed by significant practice of the newly learned skills. I've been "teaching" people all of my business career. I always start with the underlying theory and immediately segue into a practical example of how the principles work. I went from the Boston Public Schools to Commonwealth School and then Wellesley College, and would have been lost, early on, without help from tutors. I majored in English and Russian and work with several communities for whom English is not their first language.
