I took Algebra I at Diablo Valley College ,and learned how to solve equations comfortly and confidently. I am currently a school-age teacher at an afterschool child development program. I have my 12 E.C.E units to teach in such an afterschool program as a teacher. I have taught a afterschool based curriculum at two seperate child development centers, for a total of 6 1/2 years. I began tutoring at Diablo Valley College in Algebra. I worked with young adults and adults with learning disabilities. I also tutored Basic Math. I have also tutored for a tutoring company in the subjects of Spelling and Reading Comprehension. While I worked in the afterschool programs, I tutored in their homework clubs.
