I was a teaching assistant at North Georgia College and State University for three years. I assisted with laboratory sections of biology courses and taught them in the event of a professors absence. I provided department funded tutoring services during that time as well. I have taken the GRE and Biology Section of the GRE and received excellent scores on both tests in only one sitting. A Little Bit About Me...

I have found that positive reinforcement is the most effective way to encourage students to learn. I truly believe that each person has potential regardless of social, economic, or other factors. As a tutor, I feel it is my job to find a way to motivate that student to reach his/her potential. I have worked with learners who absorb information in different ways (e.g., real-world application, memorization, repitition, etc.) and am capable of adapting to these various styles.
