Worked with "At Risk" 8th graders to help get them on a positive path to High School. Instructed forums for the students that provided with the necessary information to have a successful education. I Created Agendas for upstate youth detention facilities to motivate them to return back to school upon release. Working with various groups of youth have inspired me to help anyone who wants to learn.

A Little Bit About Me...

I easily earned two Associates degrees, prior to earning my Bachelors degree, graduating Cum Laude. I excelled in Mathematics as well, and enjoy tutoring it as well. My English 101 and 102 professor encouraged me to major in English as well, but I was so involved in science classes for physical education, I opted not to add the other major. I was the president of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and a member of the USA-Today All Academic Team.

S. in Special Education from the University of Alabama and a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and Counseling from Tennessee Technological University, I taught special education classes at North Middle School in Lenoir City, Tennessee, for nine years before moving back home to take care of my parents.
