My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : I have experience working with these students. I have learned that I must keep some characteristics in mind. I must establish a rapport with the student. I must keep tutoring sessions short allowing for breaks if needed. I must avoid distractions during the sessions. I also find it helpful and amust to communicate with the teachers to know what assignments are due and when and test dates and the material to be tested on.

A Little Bit About Me...

Having just graduated in May 2008, I feel lucky to have already experienced a wide range of instructional opportunities. Last fall, I was employed as a Teacher's Aide and Learning Lab Facilitator. Serving in these capacities have provided me with amazing opportunities to experience the "Response to Intervention" program, IEP's, inclusion classrooms, as well as one-on-one and small group tutoring.
