Math has come easy to me ever since I was in grade school. When I attended Teikyo Post, I tutored students in Alg I for three years. Currently, I am taking accounting courses at Quinnipiac University and I started a study group to help students get through it.
I love helping and working with everyone. I believe learning is a mental thing. When, I start to tutor someone I always have them erase from their minds "I can't do this" or "its to hard" and have them input into their minds "I can do this". I feel one must believe they can before they actually do. Math is just a continuous discipline where you apply what you have learned from previous classes.

I am a Chartered Accountant and have passed the CPA exam. I have been working in the Finance sector for over 15 years. I have also had a stint in teaching while doing my certfication as a HighSchool Math teacher.I have also substitute taught for 3 years in various subject areas.
I am of the opinion that children should be given clues and lead on to discover answers to questions. In some areas I like them to memorize certain facts which will help them solve problems better. We led large volunteer groups sometime of more than 100 people, in local park and forest restoration event, and also led youth groups on 10 day restoration and hiking trips in the national forest.
