I recently tutored high school Physics. In less than a month my student had made a lot of progress in understanding concepts that he struggled with before. Physics is a subject that builds upon previously learned concepts, so it was pivotal for him to understand those building blocks. I have two BS degrees, one in physics and Education and a masters degree in Physics. I am also a licensed teacher, teaching Physics and Chemistry, and three-time variance to teach Math. My 11 year experience in teaching in public, Alternative high and charter schools has prepared me for this job. My teaching style is such that students are taken and made active learners and not just as recipients of knowledge. Students have to own their learning.
