Experience Summary
I have two BS degrees, one in physics and Education and a masters degree in Physics. I am also a licensed teacher, teaching Physics and Chemistry, and three-time variance to teach Math. My 11 year experience in teaching in public, Alternative high and charter schools has prepared me for this job.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is such that students are taken and made active learners and not just as recipients of knowledge. Students have to own their learning. Students are encouraged to come up with the answers by leading them toward the answer and this involves using past experiences and knowledge leart earler instead of being given the answers. Collaborative learning is encouraged in my classes, because I believe that students can learn from each other.
