I am certified in Alabama and Georgia as a professional educator. In Georgia, I am certified in elementary and middle grades). As a Highly Qualified Teacher in Alabama, I am certified P-6 expiring in 2015. I have altogether 15 years experience tutoring students from ages 6-24 year olds tutoring college students in Economics, Math, and Speech. I earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education in May 2005 and a Bachelors in Accounting. I taught three years in a school district in Alabama and currently substitute teach for Muscogee County in Columbus and Fort Benning.

As a graduate of Columbus State University, I have been driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a teacher's certification in Special Education. The certification, along with the experience gained, has enabled me to gain an understanding of the disabled and at-risk student. Over the past eleven years I have learned and employed various teaching strategies that have aided in the success of my students. My passion is to teach and work with children. Although I believe that all students are capable of learning, I am certain that students learn in different ways.
