A Little Bit About Me...

I believe each student is different and as such, each should be handled differently. My more than six years of tutoring experience provided me extensive background on students characters and approaches in better presenting the subject matter. At the end of the day, it is important that the student has learned and is ready in tackling subject topics.
Since I graduated with a BS in Environmental Science, I had been a high-school tutor for more than 6 years helping students in the subjects of Math and Science, specifically, Algebra, Geometry, Physics, and Biology. I handled, on the average, 8 students daily - some in groups while others individually. I have learned to understand each student's needs and characters and the approaches in dealing with them. I primarily focus on concepts and fundamentals. Most often I try to follow the instructors teaching style so the student can go to the class and does not feel lost. Although sometimes, I try different techniques based on how well the student is doing. I am very patient and I try my best to keep the session interesting and also at times challenging.
I am currently a Post Graduate student at UCSD. I have been tutoring for the past 3-4 years. I have primarily tutored High School and Undergraduate students. My area of expertise is Math. I can tutor any math up until Advanced Calculus.
