A Little Bit About Me...

I am the author of five historical novels and a number of articles, poems and short stories. I occasionally do short “residences” teaching Language Arts and Drama to special needs students in k-12 schools for VSA Arts of Florida. My graduate studies emphasized American and Tudor/Stuart History. My doctorate included a Criminal Justice minor. All learning starts with a question, both by teacher and student alike. My role is both as teacher (coach and guide) and student (questioner). I should employ a variety of questioning techniques to better understand strengths and weaknesses, then prescribe remedies tailored for individual strengths and weaknesses, facilitating the learning process and desired outcome.
