A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching style involves organized and systematic approach to biology. I have been a student of two major universities one of which involved taking medical school classes and will bring the same approach I use myself and translate it to the student as much as possible to ensure that the perfect study plan and strategy is found to achieve the performance that is necessary. I have experiences and used multiple learning techniques myself and will teaching these techniques and study habits to ensure peak performance.
I have graduated from two major universities and will attend medical school at Nova Southeastern University in August 2011. I have just recently graduated from USF College of Medicine with a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences and hold a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois. I am a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of accounting and finance experience. Although I have no formal teaching degree, I feel that I would be an excellent tutor. First, I have successfully trained many employees over the years. Second, my two sons, ages 21 and 19 graduated numbers 2 and 1 in their high school classes, respectively. Now, both are "straight A" students at the University of Tennessee. Here, I feel that I have lead by example. Finally, my personality, while being friendly and patient, is also that of a highly motivated "over achiever" who loves to help others. I feel that I offer the best of both worlds, a love of learning in an academic environment as well as real-life experience in the business world.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Liberty University in May 2009 with a BS in Accounting. I am currently and have been a substitute teacher in Bedford County for the 2009-2010 school year. I have substituted for grades 6-12. I have been a football coach at Liberty High School for 3 years and I have been a track & field coach at Liberty High School for 5 years. I have helped different types of students away from school in various subjects. I love math and I am in the process of completing the requirements to gain a teaching license to teach high school math.
I really enjoy being around kids and helping them learn new things. When you teach a kid something and they finally get it, the sight of their face lighting up is priceless.
