I love teaching. I earned my BA before I was old enough to vote. While my classmates were in his/her senior year, I was teaching. Eventually I earned my M.Ed. in Reading, then started School Administration and Adult Education. In all these fields I find similar necessary skills: patience, co-operation among staff and colleagues, knowledge of subject matter, communication with the community and parents and a well defined curriculum. Moreover, I am a published author and a former writer with St. Louis Globe Democrat - Suburban Journals. As a favor to my students, I often evaluate papers for submission. In addition to currently being a substitute teacher for the Missouri State Schools teaching a variety of subjects, I have tutored elementary students in all subjects for one year. Through another employer, I worked closely with two students to improve grade performance in writing and math. Also, I have worked as a group facilitator for about six months where I taught adults basic living skills and tutored them to help them obtain a G.E.D.

Throughout my college years, I was involved in coaching high school aged students in baseball as well as younger kids in a baseball camp.
