My comments on tutoring Dyslexia : My experience working with students who struggle with Dyslexia is primarily in the context of supporting young, emergent readers and middle school students with this challenge.

I have worked with children, teens and adults in a variety of capacities over the course of many years providing many personal care and personalized tutoring services. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that positive reinforcement is the most effective way to motivate a student to learn. Each child must learn to identify his or her strengths and use those strengths to solve problems. I believe guided practice is necessary to establish support for students as they are learning until they ultimately can perform tasks independently.
