SAT - Math is one of my top subjects!

I am very patient and I make sure the student thoroughly understands a topic before moving on. I motivate the student to succeed and teach good study skills and test taking skills. Normally, I use the student's textbooks and classroom materials during our lessons. For standardized tests, I use prep books, such as Princeton Review. I am recent high school graduate (Regis High School class of 2015) and in the fall, I will be attending the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a seven year medical program at City College. I have taken the SATs and ACT exam (Composite score for SAT: 2290, with an 800 in math and 35 on the ACT) and the SAT II subject tests in Biology (800), Chemistry (790), and Math II (800). SAT - Math is one of my top subjects! Scored 800

I have informally tutored many throughout my time at Princeton University in many different fields within Chemistry. I've found when the subject is also a passion, teaching others to see the reasons for that passion makes learning fun and easy. Chemistry can be a challenging subject - my goal is to change that. Similarly, my goal is to make the SAT math section a breeze.
I like to take students step-by-step through the process of finding answers to complicated questions. I am a strong believer in teaching the student to think for his or herself. If I'm asked a question, I prefer to help the student find the solution rather than simply give the answer.
