I do my best to make learning fun and relatable.

I have worked as an English, Math, and Science tutor at both the undergraduate and graduate level for the past 7 years. Within that time, I have tutored countless students that have shown noticeable improvement in their test scores and their understanding of class material. As an undergraduate at Victor Valley College, I was part of the Model United Nations program, the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the Writing Center. I have a total of 7 years of teaching experience. From 2010-2013, I worked as an enrichment counselor for the Pomona Unified School District. This job required me to create lesson plans and manage a class of 20 students for 3 hours a week, 5 days a week. From 2013-2015, I worked for the Chino Unified School District's AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program. In this job, I offered life readiness and college readiness skills and tutored various common core subjects to groups of 5 Jr. high and high school students.
