As a Siena College graduate I developed a very hands on approach to active learning. Through classroom lecture and instruction I've completed the necessary coursework to complete my BS of biology. Due to my strong work ethic I've gained knowledge and skills in the physical sciences, as well as in other subject areas. During my college years I subbed as teacher at a public K-12 school. During that time I taught a variety of grade levels, and worked as a one-on-one aide.

I have worked with Middle School age youth for almost a decade. I am Site Coordinator at an after school program & run a science focused club there. I also occasionally help the students who have been removed from our Homework Room with a number of subjects. I enjoy imparting my knowledge to my students via a variety of hands on learning activities and have always been a keen math, science and language arts student myself. During this past school year I was a practicum student in a second and third grade self contained 15-1 classroom. This placement gave me the opportunity to teach math, science, and reading to students with learning disabilities and various instructional needs.
