As a graduate of the Department of Engineering at Vanderbilt University, I feel I am very qualified in tutoring Calculus 1 and 2. Not only have I taken the classes both in high school and during my time at Vanderbilt, the engineering curriculum reinforced these theories by integrating Calculus into nearly every core class that I took. In college, I tutored grammar school, high school and college students in various math and science courses. Subjects included algebra, calculus, chemistry, and physics. In graduate school, I trained graduate, medical and high school students in various lab techniques and concepts. I also played a large role in managing their laboratory projects. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from Bard College, a selective liberal arts school in New York. I have taken classes in a variety of subjects including biology, french, history, and writing. I recently completed a 90 page thesis. I have excellent critical thinking and writing skills, which have served me well as a student. As a tutor, I strive to engage my students in thinking complexly about the topic at hand. I have experience tutoring middle school aged children in music, math, and writing.
