A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent college graduate. I have substitute taught in Elementary, Middle and High School. I am very good at math, having had up to Calculus II in college, but Id rather not teach that. I am also great in History and can also help with German. I lived in Germany for 6 months, so I am quite well at the language.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching philosophy is one that is formed based on my drive to inspire and my belief in academic excellence. I am inspired to be one of those teachers that students look back on and remember as someone who has helped them achieve their goals. To me, significant teaching accomplishments come through the achievements of the students. As an educator it is important for me to teach my students how to balance the busy schedule of someone working in the business world, with their desire for education. More About This Tutor...

I graduated from high school as number eleven in rank out of 248. I often assisted other students in both high school and college. Later, as a homeschooling mother of four, I taught all of my children all subjects through the eighth grade level. I just returned from the island of Saipan, where I taught high school English in a private school, and seventh grade English in a public school. I presently am a certified substitute teacher in the Cumberland County, PA, public school system, where I teach almost all grade levels and subjects. I far prefer private tutoring over formal teaching, as I believe my abilities are put to their greatest use in that setting. I absolutely love working with students one-on-one. It's what I do best.
