I am a culinary school graduate and a full-time chef. As part of my chef-ly duties, I regularly find myself teaching cooking techniques and helping people become more comfortable in the kitchen. When it comes to writing, that I do more for my own amusement, but I have always considered myself more of a writer than anything else. I have experience and enjoy training youth in resume writing and goal setting. I am an extremely patient person. My teaching style stems from that. I encourage those I tutor to set goals for what they want to learn or accomplish and then assist them in working towards those goals.

Most of the subjects I have selected I passed with an 85% or better. I also did some tutoring in high school for other students. If I didn't learn it, I am most likely to figure out what is going on. It helps to know before hand what the lesson and subject is, just so I can remember what it is and to be more prepared. I would prefer the library, just because it is big and open. The library in Tooele is a great example. It has rooms that can be used. I would prefer tutoring no more than 10 students at a time. If I can get a copy of the lesson before hand, I can be prepared.
