I have been a substitute teacher for about 10 years specializing in math & physics. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering plus 20+ years of maintenance/engineering experience. I incorporate practical examples in teaching to give students in depth knowledge in a practical sense. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate from a top-10 university and from graduate school, I know what it takes to get into a top program and succeed at a high level. In the past 5 year, I have been working as a consultant in the environmental industry, but want to take some time off now to explore other interest. I have previously tutored underprivileged teenage girls at the Florence Crittenton Center in Los Angeles for about one-year as a volunteer back in 2001. I found that experience enjoyable but never pursued it much further due to the demands of school at the time.
