Since graduating from Eastern Oregon University, a college known for its education programs, I have dedicated most of my adult life to teaching. I have a BS degree in secondary education with endorsements in advanced mathematics and health education. I have taught students in various settings throughout my career and have become able to adapt to different learning environments. I have taught students in grades 7 through 12 as well as adult learners preparing to earn a GED certificate. Children are amazing! I have been around children of all ages for most of my life due to a large family. Every child has an opportunity to be the next Albert Einstein however I feel that it is the lack of understanding on the teachers behalf on how to teach to the different needs of the children that keeps the children from learning all that they could.
