A Little Bit About Me...

In general, I love helping people out as much as I can. Specifically, I am very passionate about the Arabic language and would love to have the opportunity to teach it to others. I am very patient when I teach anything, and I understand how difficult it can be to pick up on a new language. Also, I have friends who came to me with little English background, and I was able to tutor them to a full English understanding from their native Arabic language. The methods of teaching I was instructed when I obtained my Bachelor in Education at the University of Akron Ohio, from 1989-1991, was the following Integrated, Whole language approach and Montessori. The method we were instructed to use in the Akron city school system was Integrated which uses basic and whole language approach language Arts. These integrated units allow us the opportunity to make sure children are learning relevant information and applying that knowledge to real life scenarios. Language Arts is what I use in all my teachings and lesson plans.
