Currently a sophomore in High School, I'm looking to tutor up to around the 6-7th grade levels. I have very much experience in science especially. Currently in biology Honors. I love working with children. I've taught acting at the Durham Arts Council for three years. The duties from that position included directing students in performances which I helped them create. The plays were written around themes chosen by the camp director. So, in essence, the children and I would research those themes and develop stories which I would then turn into plays using my expertise. Those plays would be performed every two weeks for the entire summer. I was responsible for preparing three classes for this project simultaneously.

I earned two bachelor degrees from the University of North Carolina in December of 2007. From there, I chose to move to Massachusetts to participate in a ground breaking fellowship at MATCH Charter Public High School. I chose this alternate route to receiving teaching certification because of the classroom experience it provided me. A Little Bit About Me...

I am now in Graduate School trying to achieve my masters in curriculum and instruction. The last couple of courses we have really focused on the 8 intelligences. This provides guidance to teaching every type of learner.
