I am a graduate from Georgia College & State University with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. As a chemistry graduate, I am very familiar with the subject. In addition to my own academic achievements, I tutored mathematics and chemistry at Georgia Military College for 3.5 years. My tutoring experience has given me the skills to help students of various backgrounds reach their academic goals.
I am a patient and laid back type of tutor. I like to make students feel comfortable around me and realize that I have a genuine concern for their academic achievements. After graduation, I taught on a transitional teaching license. I taught in the Woodburn School District. I then went to Japan and taught English as a second language. I grew up between Bolivia and the United States and speak Spanish and English fluently. I took statistics in university and taught math in Spanish from time to time as a substitute for the Woodburn School District. In Woodburn I taught a self contained classroom for a while. I had to teach ELL students Social Studies, Math, Language arts in both Spanish and English and science. As a substitute I taught all kinds of classrooms including all subject matters.
