A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked as a tutor since I was sixteen years old, first as a peer tutor, and then in various contexts following my college graduation. I am particularly comfortable working with students struggling either because of their behavioral issues or learning or developmental disabilities. I have an extensive academic background and attended a liberal arts college, in which I studied all disciplines but especially honed my writing and research skills. I can tutor in several areas, including English, History, Sociology, Psychology, and mathematics and the sciences, depending on the level.
I believe that the most important element of teaching and tutoring is the ability to vary one's teach ... read more
