As a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a BS in Elementary Education, I received my first teaching position as a special education teacher in the Rockford School District, 205. After two years, I moved into a 6th grade position, teaching Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. I received my Master's degree from Walden University in Middle Level Education with areas of concentration in Language Arts and Social Studies. I went on to teach 7th and 8th grade Language Arts. Illinois State University is well known for their education program. Graduating from this university has filled me with pride and confidence in my ability to teach. I enjoy teaching people subjects that I understand. My preferred subjects to teach would be anything math, finance and accounting related.
