I began my 32 year teaching career in the field of music. I taught in the Visalia Unified School District in Visalia, California. I taught classroom music to children in grades 4-6. This was a job that required traveling from school to school encompassing 12 schools a week. During that time, I worked on completing a fifth year of college in order to obtain an elementary teaching credential from California State University, Fresno.
