My teaching style involves being open and relatable while keeping he conversation related to learning and the subjects of importance. I feel like students respond best when they are in a positive work environment and are pushed to be their best. This involves teaching through the Socratic method, of forcing individuals to answer their own questions. As a doctor of Biomathematics, I have a deep passion for mathematics and applied mathematics. From my undergraduate days as a math major at Columbia University, to the intensive research of my doctoral program, I have developed a finely tuned understanding of mathematics and the applications thereof.
