Hi, my name is Austin and I have had a passion for computing all my life. I started my career working as a Mobile Application Developer for the Northern Kentucky University team, the Center for Applied Informatics. I quickly became a self-taught Android and iOS developer, moving up to manage 2 of my own projects. My teaching style revolves around the idea of mastering important aspects of a subject area before moving to a more difficult subject area. In our current education system, students are allowed to move to more difficult courses without having the necessary building blocks. Through one-on-one tutoring, it is possible to take a couple steps back, assess a student's current capabilities and tailor lessons to the individual student (i.e. one student may need to back track and practice fractions before moving on to more difficult algebra).
