I have a BA in English and have tutored students for the verbal section of the SAT. I prefer the Socratic method of asking/answering questions and discussion, but I am more than capable of diverting to a more lecture style of teaching if that is what works with the student. I tailor my teaching style to the strengths of the student. I am a teacher with 7 years of classroom experience.
