I have worked with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people for several years in group home settings. I am also a volunteer interpreter for Bethel Church in Redding, CA. I have also worked for several years as a PCA to children and adults with developmental disabilities as well as Autism. I have assisted these children and adults with daily living skills and other educational/vocational activities.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have always loved to teach children because it excites me to see them really grasp a concept, and overcome a hurdle they thought was beyond their reach. Each child has so much potential-far greater than any of us give them credit for when we first meet them! I love to tap into the unique learning styles of each child, and really draw on what motivates him/her and makes him/her excited to learn. Education, through its varied forms, is vital in the process of equipping children with the ability to grow and walk in their fullness so that they are confident in contributing their part to the world.
