I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a minor in Accounting. I graduated from the University of Houston with a 3.8 G.P.A. in my major. I have learned to apply critical thinking via my education throughout my previous career in the hotel industry. I was a member of Toast Masters for a year and learned valuable communication skills and the ability to speak with precision and confidence. I have coached youth soccer for approximately 6 years and currently am the Full Field Program director (a volunteer position) for Harbor Soccer Club in Gig Harbor. I graduated from the University of Washington in 2008 with a dual degree in Accounting and Information Systems. In 2009, I sat for and passed all four section of the CPA examination. As a Magna Cum Laude graduate, I was extremely driven to excel and reach my potential. The coursework that I took throughout college provided me with an extensive knowledge base of business, math concepts, and writing. My teaching style involves being open and relatable while keeping he conversation related to learning and the subjects of importance. I feel like students respond best when they are in a positive work environment and are pushed to be their best. This involves teaching through the Socratic method, of forcing individuals to answer their own questions.
