I belong to Mensa and the NCTM, and have excellent English and decent Spanish speaking and writing skills. Generally, I'm a constructivist, and I believe the best method of tutoring is providing a completely individuated scaffold for any student. One also needs to be patient with their tutee. It is very important to be able to explain a problem in several different ways in case the first few ways do not make sense to the tutee.
